The “Jadids” competition is launched

To deepen students' knowledge of history and their interest in the national legacy of enlightenment, the school has launched the “Jadids” competition.

School librarian Z. Soliyeva explained what the competition is about, how to take part and what is expected of the entries.

Students also heard about the life, work and service to public education of Mahmudxo‘ja Behbudiy, the great enlightener and a leading figure of the Jadid movement.

Meetings like this develop students' historical thinking, help them study the heritage of the Jadids and encourage a love of reading.
